Start a guest book
If you already have a guest book at your office/location, make sure it includes
room for an email address! Place your guest book prominently in your
office or store and remind employees to ask customers if they would like to
receive your newsletter, special promotions, or notification of private sales
and events.
Add a "join our mailing list" link
Place a "join our mailing list" link in the signature of every email you send to
clients, business associates, friends and family. The link should go to
your website home page or the most appropriate page of your site where your
signup tag is prominently displayed. When Sinclair Services manages
your email campaigns, your emails will include this link automatically, unless
you decide not to.
Forward Email to a Friend
When you send an email campaign, you can include a "join our mailing list" link
in all forwarded emails. This means that when your email gets passed along
to others, they can join your list on the spot.
